About Object Remover
Object Remover is a free tool for erasing unwanted things from photos: people, text, date stamps, blemishes and clutter. It is part of TryImager, a family of browser-based image tools that do their work on your device instead of on a server.
How it works
When you open a photo, it is drawn onto a canvas inside the page. You paint a mask over what you want removed. When you press Remove, the tool crops the area around your mask, scales it to a size the AI can handle, and runs an inpainting model that predicts what the background should look like. The prediction is scaled back up and blended into your full-resolution photo only where you painted, so every other pixel stays untouched.
The AI model (about 28 MB) is downloaded once from Hugging Face and cached by your browser. After that, everything happens offline-capable on your own device, using your graphics card via WebGPU where available, or your processor via WebAssembly otherwise.
